The historic Delta town of Locke in Northern California is a candy store for painters! I spent a delightful summer morning painting this view from the balcony above my friend Martha Esch's place, the Lockeport Grill and Fountain on Main Street.

Enjoyed painting this charming turn-of-the-century house during the "Paint Pleasanton" plein air event last summer. I love painting in Pleasanton's old-timey downtown and quiet, tree-lined neighborhood of historic homes and churches.
